11 July - Sprint - Makerikeri Rd
Description: Nice Forestry road. 6km with nice flowing start heading uphill. Twisty uphill mid section opens out to short run of main forestry road along the top then down hill to finish. Slightly different finish to past events at this venue.

The weather started out nice. The wind picked up during the day with some breif rain just as we were finishing.
Entry numbers were sadly lacking (only 19).
Only 2 4wd cars entered, which must be somethign of a first for a long time.
The field soon depleted with a number of cars suffering various mechanical misfortunes.
