THE CLUB AND CLUB EVENTS
The Autosport Club
(Inc.) organises and promotes motorsport events in central
and north Canterbury. The club is mainly involved with
non-seal events such as gravel rallies, rallysprints, and
autocrosses.
If you want to be involved in Rallying in
Christchurch and North Canterbury, the Autosport Club is for
you!The club needs
volunteers for organising, running, and timing events.
Please get in touch with a committee member if you are able
to help the club with it's events or day to day
administration. We'd love to hear from you!
MEMBERSHIP
When you join the
Autosport club you join a club with a history of great
motorsport events in Canterbury, as well as an impressive
track record of members who have competed and succeeded at
every level of motorsport in New Zealand.
Club subscriptions per
year are as follows

The club issues
a newsletter called "The
Bulletin" to members detailing
events coming up, results of previous events, and other
items of interest.
Being a club member means you can compete in the club
championship, and be eligible for trophies and prizes each
year. The club championship has various classes of
competition: 0-1300cc 2 wheel drive (2WD), 1301-1600cc 2WD,
1601cc and over 2WD, and 4WD. There are trophies or
certificates at most events for the first three
placings in
each class, and for the first three cars overall.

Club members can
download and send in their membership renewals using the
membership renewal form (PDF).
Please assist the secretary by filling in the form clearly
and enclosing the correct payment.
Also note that no
responsibility will be taken by any official of the club for
cash posted to the club for membership and entry fees.
A cheque
is the preferred means of payment.
